Lecture at Haas School of Business
In March 2012, Thornton was invited to give a lecture to the students and some of the faculty at his alma mater. Professor Alastair Lawrence's class on Financial Corporate Reporting participated in this two hour lecture at Haas on the three accounting titans of the twentieth century (Ripley, Spacek, Brilloff) which includes a discussion of Enron, the Madoff Scandal, financial deviation analysis, a historic overview of the American Stock Market, and other economic topics. |
